EU-Project: HEROES - Home care work for retirees

The EU-project HEROES aims to improve the speed and cost-efficiency of nursing recruitment through an online platform in cooperation with international partners. Via an application, pensioners view pre-recorded interviews of nursing-staff online. After this, qualified nurses screen the candidates. In this way, the health care system is unburdened and pensioners have the opportunity to work from home and contribute to society at the same time. The project is implemented at a local level, working with local businesses, civil society organisations and communities to create a connected and local caring community.
