AGE-NT

The national innovation network Age and Ageing in Society (AGE-NT) facilitates a structured approach to consolidating research on the topic of age and ageing. The project aims to establish sustainable structures for research activities, thereby creating national and international added value for research and practice in Switzerland. It is coordinated by Sabina Misoch from the IAF. The project office is located at the OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule and is responsible for the operational implementation of the set targets and the resolutions adopted by the Steering Committee and the Project Committee. In addition, its primary tasks include budget control, reporting and external communication.

The project comprises research and development projects in the following four areas, among others:

  • Active and Assisted Living (AAL)
  • Living with dementia
  • Models for the 45+ labour market
  • Living and housing in old age
