Digital Society

Digital Society is a vast field of current research. The IPM focuses on the following topics:

• The use of Behavioural Change Support Systems to promote environmentally friendly mobility and energy efficiency

• The engagement of citizens in idea generation, deliberation and decision-making with regard to public spaces (e-participation)

• The use of open innovation approaches for involving all relevant social actors in the development of solutions to societal challenges

• Design and impact of new digital technologies in different societal contexts as well as their implications for how people interact with each other (e.g. social robots, digital assistants, IoT).
