Tired from too much heat? Join the 2nd International Summer School on Sustainability in Braşov, Romania and learn about climate change mitigation and sustainability.

From 24th to 28th July 2023, Transilvania University of  Braşov (TUB) together with the two partners of the EU Project SophiAHochschule Karlsruhe (HKA) and OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule are organizing an International Summer School on Sustainability in Braşov, Romania. The first edition was successfully organized in summer 2022 by OST in Rapperswil, Switzerland.

40 students from HKA Hochschule Karlsruhe, OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule and TUB – Transilvania University of Brasov will attend the International Summer School on Sustainability in Romania. The focus of this edition is biodiversity and food.

The Sustainability Summer School will focus on sustainability and climate change mitigation technologies. With international experts and applying interactive VARK learning methods, participants will gain new knowledge and competencies about technical solutions to reduce our ecological footprint. After the Sustainability Summer School, we encourage participants to continue their experience by organizing a Sustainability Week in their home universities. The aim is to build change agents to support increasing the capacity of young people to become active participants in shaping a more sustainable future.

A networking event for students will be organized to enable senior experts from companies all over the world to share their experiences to the students and early career researchers working in the fields of sustainability and renewable energy.
