Advantages of a Bachelor in Electrical and Computer Engineering an der OST
- Practice-Oriented – Built on a Strong Theoretical Foundation: We consider theory to be an essential basis for successful practical projects, which is why it plays a key role in our curriculum.
- Driving Innovation: Technological progress is often driven by innovations in electrical engineering. You will learn how to design entirely new systems from the ground up – equipping you to help shape future developments as an electrical engineer.
- A Crucial Interface: Electrical engineering connects mechanical engineering and computer science. It serves as the link between matter, energy, and information – for example, in robotics. We foster this interdisciplinary approach from day one of your studies.
- Challenging Studies – With Outstanding Support: As a student, you benefit from excellent support and close contact with our teaching staff, who are always available to answer your questions.
- Wide Range of Career Opportunities: Electrical engineering plays a role in nearly every aspect of daily life. Our graduates are sought-after experts in a variety of fields such as robotics, medical technology, artificial intelligence, and energy supply. This diversity is reflected in the wide range of elective modules we offer.
Program Contents
Electrical engineers work in a wide range of fields. We reflect this diversity through a broad selection of modules, which you are free to combine. Depending on your prior education (e.g. electronics technician, automation technician, computer scientist, electrician) or your personal interests and strengths, our five specializations serve as a guide. Each one outlines the topics you will focus on during your studies.
Artificial Intelligence
