The interdisciplinary focus area (IdS) «Healthy Living and Aging» (HELA) hosted a networking event in St. Gallen on October 28, 2025. Nine teams further developed their proposals in the project workshop into innovative solutions for key issues relating to healthy living and aging.

Nine teams presented their ideas, gave each other feedback, and strengthened the exchange across disciplinary boundaries. The discussions led to new perspectives and creative impulses. In the last part of the morning, the project teams had time to integrate the feedback and further develop their ideas for the pre-proposals.

From Co-Creation to AI: Great diversity of HELA projects

The projects show a remarkable thematic diversity. They address key societal challenges – including through co-creation, technological solutions, and digital assistance systems. The interdisciplinary nature of the project teams contributes to innovative solutions to pressing societal issues surrounding healthy living and aging.
