h2Oh?

Water is everywhere – and yet so much of it remains invisible. H2Oh?! makes water tangible: through personas, experiments and measurements – directly at schools and events. The mobile laboratory shows how water changes, what it contains, and what influence we have on it.

H2Oh?! is a mobile laboratory that makes it possible to experience first-hand how water changes, what it contains, and what influence we have on it. It is versatile—it can be used in the classroom, on school grounds, or at public events. The program combines scientific content with real-life applications and encourages a lasting understanding of water as a vital resource.

Through interactive experiments, analyses, and hands-on activities, students discover the fascinating world of water and deepen their understanding of the water cycle.

Students not only learn theoretical fundamentals but also experience water with all their senses and apply their knowledge in practical ways. This enables sustainable and in-depth learning.

A special feature of the water lab are the so-called “water personas.” These illustrate the properties and differences of various types of water, such as river water, rainwater, or seawater. Different pollutants are also represented as personas.

The Mobile Water Lab is also accessible at public events, where visitors can analyze their own water samples and contribute to an interactive regional water map highlighting variations in water quality. Measurement uncertainties caused by transport, storage, or sample contamination may occur.

OST is responsible for providing water-related expertise and implementing the mobile laboratory as part of the project.
