In early June 2025, the Age Innovation Prize was awarded as part of the Swiss AgeTech Conference at Google Cloud Zurich. The conference took place for the second time and was organized by Margerite GmbH. The prize is supported by the Institute for Aging Research at OST University of Applied Sciences, EY Switzerland, and Margerite GmbH.

The Age Innovation Prize pursues a clear goal: to make Swiss innovations in the field of aging visible and to promote them. In the recap video, Cornelia Ursprung, organizer of the prize and research associate at the Institute for Aging Research (IAF), explains why visibility is crucial for the further development of innovative solutions for healthy aging. Jury member François Höpflinger, an aging and generational researcher, emphasizes the diversity and quality of submissions as well as the importance of openness to technology. Ivan Büchi, together with Silvio Biaggi, prize sponsor with Margerite, speaks about the successful combination of the conference and award ceremony in an inspiring atmosphere.
