International Opportunities for Faculty and Staff Members

Through SEMP (Swiss European Mobility Programme), a limited amount of funding is available each year, which can be used for the following activities within Europe:

• Staff Teaching Mobility – teaching stay at a partner university of OST
• Staff Training Mobility – training stay at a partner university, a company, or another relevant workplace

Important Note: 

Activities within Europe must take place on at least two consecutive days (excluding travel days). Subsidies consist of a daily flat rate (excluding weekends, unless a mobility activity takes place). A maximum of two travel days can be added. Transport costs will be reimbursed at actual cost up to a maximum of CHF 500.00. Activity requests involving sustainable travel (e.g. by train) will be given priority.
