3D Computer Vision / Image Processing

Image processing involves capturing and processing visual information. We develop systems that extract 3D information from a set of 2D images and generate 3D models. This can be interesting, for example, in the medical field (CAD models from CT scans) or in the development of autonomous devices that build a 3D world for navigation in unknown environments. Another currently very popular application is the creation of 3D models for geographic information systems like Google Earth.
