Practical day course

This course in the field of Data Center Networking is aimed at experienced participants who have already attended the basic course or possess solid knowledge of networking technologies. The goal of the course is to provide an in-depth understanding of building a data fabric and to enable participants to apply modern technologies such as MP-BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN in a data center environment.

Prerequisites:

Participants should have completed the basic networking course or possess equivalent knowledge in networking technologies.

    • MP-BGP (Multiprotocol Border Gateway Protocol)
      • Functionality and use cases
      • Integration of IPv4 and IPv6
    • EVPN (Ethernet Virtual Private Network)
      • Fundamentals and benefits of EVPN
      • Use of EVPN for multi-tenant environments
    • VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN)
      • VXLAN architecture and functionality
      • Benefits of VXLAN in large data center environments
  • Best practices for implementing and managing data center networks

  • Hands-on session with modern data center hardware
    • Configuration of MP-BGP in a data center environment
    • Implementation of EVPN to support virtualization and multi-tenancy
    • Setup of VXLAN for network segmentation and isolation
