Seminar: Fabrication and Test of (Micro-) electronic Circuits

Discover the development, manufacture and testing of semiconductor components in our seminar using a self-made air flow sensor. From design to clean room manufacturing process to final assembly – you will experience everything first-hand in our seminar.

Advice and registration

The Age of Microelectronics
Microelectronics is at the heart of modern innovation and enables technologies that shape our everyday lives. The path to a smarter and more connected future relies on the ability to design and manufacture ever-smaller, faster, and more powerful
electronic components. From aerospace and computing to medical technology and industrial automation, companies must continuously adapt to rapidly advancing semiconductor technologies in order to remain competitive.

Quality Assurance
Ensuring the reliability and quality of microelectronic components is a critical challenge. Achieving this requires a deep understanding of both manufacturing processes and testing methodologies. Engineers and professionals involved in design, fabrication, and verification must understand how fabrication constraints and test strategies influence circuit design. Only by integrating these aspects early in the development process can high product quality and reliability be achieved.

Dive into the World of Semiconductors
This seminar provides a practical introduction to the development, fabrication, and testing of semiconductor devices. Participants will gain hands-on insight into the complete process chain — from circuit design and designing production test circuitry to microfabrication and testing — using a self-fabricated example component.

The course bridges theory and practice, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of how microelectronic circuits are created and validated.

Who should attend?
