The annual event organized by ETH, EPFL, and CSEM brought together the who's who of the Swiss semiconductor community. Lars Kamm from IMES delivered a presentation titled "From Classroom to Cleanroom: Shaping the Microelectronics Workforce," highlighting the study opportunities in microelectronics at OST:
- Bachelor's program providing a solid foundation in analog and digital microelectronics within the Electrical & Computer Engineering course at the Rapperswil campus.
- Subsequent Master's program MSE Electrical Engineering with a clear focus on practical specialization in microelectronics.
- Exclusive opportunities to gain diverse work experience during studies, including:
- "Every student designs their own chip, which is manufactured and tested;
- Participates in a cleanroom course to experience manufacturing firsthand;
- Furthermore, top students are allowed to write their thesis at a university abroad."
