Bachelor's Program in Mechatronics

Mechatronics, with its interdisciplinary expertise in mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer science, is an essential tool in modern industries. It forms the foundation for many innovative technologies, as well as intelligent technical products and processes. In a highly technological world, mechatronics engineers ensure the development of sophisticated products and the smooth operation of processes.

In the Mechatronics program, you will build the necessary mathematical and scientific foundations, along with core competencies in the three traditional engineering disciplines: mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer science.

Focus on one of our three specializations and enhance your expertise with future-oriented topics relevant to the industry.  This highly practice-oriented program takes full advantage of the excellent laboratory facilities at the two campuses in Buchs and St. Gallen and maintains strong connections with companies in eastern Switzerland and beyond.

You will also benefit from an outstanding student-to-faculty ratio, ensuring personalized support throughout your studies.

OST maintains close ties with industries in the Rhine Valley and the St.Gallen area, offering students outstanding job prospects.
