Earth Construction Forum
The Earth Construction Forum (ECF) is an international two-day conference held at the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (OST) in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. The IBU Institute for Construction and Environment, led by Prof. Simone Stürwald and Prof. Dr. Ivan Markovic, is hosting the conference. The ECF serves as a platform for experts from research, planning, trade, and industry to exchange ideas about the opportunities, challenges, and prospects of earth-based building materials.
The conference will last two days, with keynote speeches on Friday morning, mostly in German (with English translation), followed by scientific sessions from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon in English. The scientific sessions will focus on the technical and mechanical aspects of earth-based materials and structures.
