JBI Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare Eastern Switzerland

In January 2026, the OST Centre for Evidence-based Healthcare joined the JBI Collaboration and has become the JBI Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare Eastern Switzerland. This membership strengthens our commitment to advancing evidence-based healthcare (EBHC) and positions us within a global network dedicated to improving healthcare quality and patient safety.

JBI is a global organization promoting and supporting evidence-based decisions aimed at improving health and healthcare services. JBI offers a unique range of solutions to access, appraise, and apply the best available evidence. As part of the JBI Collaboration, our goal is to advance evidence synthesis, knowledge translation, and implementation to improve health outcomes and strengthen evidence-based clinical care and research.

As a JBI Collaboration Entity, we will contribute to international evidence synthesis and implementation efforts and advance methodological excellence in EBHC. Furthermore, we will provide training and capacity building in EBHC methods and strengthen our partnership with clinical and academic institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
