Department of Interdisciplinary Work (IQT)

Social and economic issues require interdisciplinary solutions. The department IQT researches and develops these for external partners by promoting the interaction of different disciplines - in an innovative, practice-oriented and sustainable way. The solutions range from artificial intelligence-assisted physiotherapy, to participatory robots for elderly assistance, to multi-perspective services for communities.

The department IQT provides expertise and services to the departments of OST as well as to students, continuing education participants, alumni and third parties. Thanks to the diversity of their expertise and offerings, the organisational units of the department IQT are active in teaching as well as in the extended performance mandate and in the network. This diversity, combined with the interdisciplinary approach, makes the department IQT unique.
