Age Innovation Prize: New partnership with Age-Stiftung

02.02.2026

Thanks to the strategic partnership with the Age-Stiftung, the Age Innovation Prize will continue for another three years. In addition to technological innovations, we are now also promoting social innovations that improve the lives of older people in Switzerland.

OST – University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland is pleased to announce a groundbreaking partnership: Together with the Age-Stiftung, the Age Innovation Prize will continue from 2026 to 2028. This continuation is possible after the successful completion of the Switzerland-wide AGE-INT research program.

Since its introduction, the Age Innovation Prize has been an important catalyst for innovation in the field of aging. The aim is to promote projects that improve the lives of older people in the long term. The focus is now not only on technological innovations, but also on social innovations. This is our response to the growing importance of social solutions to the challenges of demographic change.
