Practical skills

OST students spend an average of 20% of their studies out in the field. Every year, they work in teams on more than 240 consulting projects for companies, organizations and government clients, which are organized by the Knowledge Transfer Office, WTT for short.

These consulting projects are a classic win-win situation: the students sharpen their practical skills in the long term and gain valuable experience and practical credentials for the job market, while the clients receive detailed answers to their specific questions. This practical experience within the framework of the practical projects is unique in Switzerland in this form.
