In our programmes dedicated to teaching and continuing professional education, we are committed to ensuring that healthcare professionals become familiar with methods of evidence-based practice. We promote evidence-based thinking and acting.
Our programmes are focused on
• developing a research question,
• finding research literature in a targeted and efficient manner,
• systematically and critically analysing clinical studies,
• integrating scientific evidence into clinical decision-making.
We currently teach EBHC methods as part of our degree programmes: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, Master of Nursing Science as well as MAS in Palliative Care and MAS in Dementia Care at the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences.
In addition, we once a year offer one-day introductory courses on evidence-based practice.
Are you interested? We are pleased to conduct seminars on evidence-based practice,
to support you as coaches in your projects and in preparing evidence syntheses (e.g. systematic reviews, guidelines, concepts).
