Generation of Multipartite Entangled States Using Switchable Coupling of Cooper-Pair-Boxes

We propose a scheme for a switchable coupling between several Cooper-pair boxes in the charge regime. The switch is embodied in a SQUID element contained in the center conductor of a transmission-line resonator.

We propose a scheme for a switchable coupling between several Cooper-pair boxes in the charge regime. The switch is embodied in a SQUID element contained in the center conductor of a transmission-line resonator.
An example for the application of this switch is the generation of multipartite entangled states for three and four charge qubits.
