Pumping Power prediction in Low Temperaure District Heating Networks
Low temperature district heating networks connect residential buildings with heat demand to commercial buildings with elevated cooling demand. Energy is transported in water bearing pipes at a low temperature level and stored in seasonal borehole storages. The pumping effort was modelled and compared to measured data from a network in Zürich.
