High-Temperature Heat Pumps for Industrial Applications - New Developments and Products for Supply Temperatures >100 °C

In order to achieve the goal of «Carbon neutrality 2060», China has considered heat pumps could play a key role in this strategy, thus innovations and applications of heat pumps in buildings, industries and transportations are very important. International exchanges and collaborations in heat pump technology could help to promote heat pump industries.

The first China Heat Pump Conference (CHPC2022) was held on October 24 to 27, 2022 in Hangzhou, China, which offered an opportunity for stakeholders in the global heat pump field to exchange cutting-edge technologies, hot issue and policy orientation.

The theme of the conference was «Focus on Heat Pump Innovation to Pursuit Low-Carbon Development».

Sponsor:  International Institute of Refrigeration
Organizer: Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR)
Conference Chair: Prof. Ruzhu Wang, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Dr. Cordin Arpagaus from the Institute for Energy Systems (IES) at OST was invited to present a Keynote Lecture on High-Temperature Heat Pumps for Industrial Applications - New Developments and Products for Supply Temperatures above 100 °C.
