Study full-time or part-time
The Bachelor's degree in Information Systems at OST can be completed full-time in six semesters (three years) or part-time in eight semesters (four years). In full-time study, classes are typically held during the day, Monday through Friday. Study hours range from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., depending on the schedule. Special dates and variations are possible.
In part-time study/part-time with extra occupational, study days are set for two afternoons and evenings at the latest to 9:30 p.m; and alternating Thursday afternoons/evenings or Saturday mornings. Special dates and deviations are possible. The class times of the part-time study program allow students to work at least 50 percent.
Part-time, extra-occupational study means that students must pursue a professional activity close to their discipline (in the commercial or (business) IT field).
In the purely part-time model, students are free to decide whether they work (and at what) alongside their studies.
