During your bachelor studies in computer science at OST, you will build bridges to the professional world through exercises, project and bachelor theses, paving the way to a successful career.
During the lectures of your Bachelor's program in Computer Science at the OST, you will discuss problems and solutions from companies in plenary sessions. You will deepen the theory in the computer network lab and work with the most modern equipment during lab practicals. The challenge projects are something special. In these, you take part in national and international competitions, either independently or as part of a group. This gives you the chance to convince companies such as Microsoft, Google, Siemens or IBM of your skills and your work.
Teamwork is also required in the software engineering projects: You will work in small groups with your fellow students from the computer science program over a longer period of time on a complex task. You will receive feedback from your supervising lecturers at several review meetings. The project is concluded with a presentation of your results.
