International Services is the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences' (OST) hub for all international issues. One of its main tasks is to coordinate the international exchange of students, teaching personnel and administrative staff. Its core activities also include maintaining relationships with our partner universities abroad, as well as coordinating internationalisation activities locally.
The Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) is well connected internationally and offers students the opportunity to establish international contacts. We maintain an intensive exchange with more than 180 partner universities in Europe, Asia and America. Our network enables students and lecturers to expand their experience abroad, discover new things and thus invest in their professional future.
This benefits outgoing students of the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) who study for a semester or a whole academic year in another European country (SEMP, Swiss European Mobility Program) or overseas. However, our partner universities also enrich the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) with incoming students from all over the world, whom we welcome.
In addition to the existing university partnerships, it is open to you as a student oft the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) to go abroad as a freemover. To do so, you organize your stay at a suitable host university yourself and plan the exchange program with the help of our international offices.
