Digitisation & Age - On the use of digital services by people 65+

Assessing the usefulness of the digital services offered to people 65+ is of great importance so that older people are not excluded by this development in our society. Digitisation can lead to social inequality in old age, because people who do not use the digitised version of some services may be disadvantaged on several levels. The results and conclusions of this study were presented at a conference on "Digitisation & Age. On the use of digital services by people 65+" on 13 September 2017 in Stein am Rhein. The conference was organised with the Think Tank Thurgau.
