Research project

IBH Living Lab Active & Assisted Living

In this project, the IAF is working with several universities from the Lake Constance region to test Active & Assisted Living (AAL) innovations under real conditions and taking into account the requirements of all stakeholders.

The aim of the project is to use AAL (Active & Assisted Living) solutions to enable people with physical or mental limitations to live as self-determined a life as possible and at the same time to support and facilitate the services of caregivers. For four years, the IAF will be involved in the lab management as well as in the individual project, especially in the area of user barrier analysis.
