Research project
Against the backdrop of the societal challenges posed by demographic change and the expected shortage of skilled workers in the care sector, the use of robots to assist in care or service activities for older people is being discussed.
In this project, the IAF wants to collect the views of the relevant people for the first time in order to reflect a picture of the Swiss population 60+. For this purpose, people 60+ will be asked about their emotions towards robots of different appearance and in different situations (service and care), in order to also be able to take emotional needs into account in the development of robots.
