Digital Skills 50+

Digital skills and training needs of people 50+

In particular, people from middle adulthood onwards with moderate digital skills run the risk of not finding suitable offers to expand their digital skills. The Institute of Age Research (IAF) analyses the current range of courses on offer in Switzerland. Subsequently, a dynamically adaptable questionnaire for the self-assessment of digital competences will be developed, which will be used in the long term across the project. A representative survey will be conducted to ascertain the digital skills and training needs of people 50+, and qualitative interviews will be used to shed more light on training experiences in digital skills courses. Specific recommendations for practice will be formulated on the basis of the data.
