Prototype development hybrid cooling ceiling module

Solid components such as concrete ceilings offer a high thermal mass for storing heat and cold and for damping the room temperature. With the industrial partner Barcol-Air Group AG, Schwerzenbach, an innovative hybrid cooling ceiling module with concrete ceiling activation has been developed within the framework of an Innosuisse project that enables higher free-cooling proportions than conventional cooling ceilings, which means that savings in electrical energy can be realised.
