In this project, the modularity and compatibility of scalable solar thermal systems for industrial

processes by itself and with district heating and heat pumps using different collector technologies were investigated. Identified consumption profiles for in-dustrial applications were combined with costs, and thus the heat cost was calculated for the industrial sites considered. CO2

reduction costs were also calculated for different collector technologies and compared with

specific manufacturer offers based on the example of one company. In addition, the economic

efficiency and subsidies for solar process heat were investigated
